It is possible to give meaning to your suffering by searching for the positive things that have resulted or that you were able to create from your adversity. Maybe you don’t see it in the moment, but the more you search for and find that meaning, the better you become at holding onto hope in times of despair. Even when you feel you have nothing, you still always have your hope and spirit. A bad day, week, or even couple years is not a bad life, so long as you hold out you haven’t lost. You lose when the game ends, and the opportunities for redemption or reconciling suffering cease to exist, at which point you’ll already be six feet under. So you might as well give it everything.

Yo Clark. I already commented that on the last vid but I wanted to thank you for your content and show you how you have impacted my life. I recently started posting on TikTok and I think if I never met or saw you in my fyp I would have never come to this point. Through your videos I learned to be myself and like you said it, to do what I wanna do and persue my interest. I literally remember it like yesterday when I first saw you in early 2024 on my fyp and I was fascinated by your content about the gym. but I feel like not everything needs a prior cause to have meaning. Sometimes suffering is simply indifferent and the universe just doesn’t offer any sort of explanation. Meaning isn’t discovered hidden inside pain but it’s created by how we choose to respond to it. Hope isn’t the only answer and defiance in the face of meaninglessness can be just as profound 🫩🫩🫩

Clark I feel dead inside I drink all the time bc my ex gf gave up on me as soon as I went into the military, I work night shifts and nearly see the light of day, I’m so depressed and almost feel like I wanna end it. I feel so empty and mad at the world, and I’m so tired man, bc I can never feel that love again. And maybe I will find someone else, but at this point in my life I feel hopeless.
