bipolar people usually don't seek treatment during mania and do when depressed ..

In her lawsuit it says she started hearing voices when she started Seroquel at the end of November. Zoloft 50mg and Prozac 10mg had been stopped at that point. Can Seroquel make you hear voices? I thought it was an antipsychotic meant to stop hallucinations ?

So is there any info on where she was filling these prescriptions? I’m suprised a pharmacist kept filling all the prescriptions they gave her in a short period of time. Was she filling them in different places if she was seeing different doctors???

No antidepressants can push anybody into agitation, mania etc. You don’t even have to be mentally ill to have these reactions.

A psychotic person might not have the mental capacity needed to even acknowledge they are experiencing psychosis, much less disclose it.

Wait...how do we know what she was telling her Doctors? Is this your assumption or has that info come out? Also, don't you think the Doctors needed to have some perspective that obviously there were some other underlying things going on that she might not be disclosing since she kept going over and over? As a Counselor myself, I have to have some presumptive understanding based on all the other things a client is telling me

What does a health provider due do if someone says they are not having hallucinations but they highly suspect through speaking with them they are.

Psychiatrists/aprn should be asking this tho. The system failed her. It’s not than rare to have mania with antidepressants. I’ve seen it plenty

I agree with you! I do not believe the doctors are to blame in this case at all. And was she disclosing to each doctor all the other providers she had already been seeing?
