@banaadiri0: A year ago, I never imagined this page would reach the audience I had hoped for. I’m grateful to say it has connected me with some of the most incredible people from across the East African coast. From Mogadishu, Marka, Barawa, and Kismayo to Lamu, Malindi, Mombasa, Zanzibar, and the Comoros Islands, I’ve met people who share many of the same experiences, traditions, and appreciation for our coastal heritage. I’ve also had the privilege of connecting with many Banaadiri people whose stories have made this journey even more meaningful.
