Yeah it’s wild, cuz like the boys for example is so OBVIOUSLY against them, like even from season 1 you can tell it was a critique on the Republican Party and the regime it’s trying to create but for the longest time conservatives thought they were the Boys and not Homelander/Vought but literally in season 1 there’s a whole part where Vought is anti gay like hello which party is anti gay? Yeah republicans it literally slaps them in the face with it but it took some of them til season 5 to figure out they were being made fun of by this show
