“your college degree is not going to save you.” and yes… i’m saying that as a business student. Before anyone misunderstands me — I’m NOT anti-college. I’m literally in college right now. But being a full-time student, balancing 25–30 hour work weeks, making ~$600 paychecks, and eventually getting laid off changed how I think about “security.” Because I realized something: A degree can absolutely be valuable. But expecting ONE degree, ONE employer, or ONE paycheck to automatically create financial stability? That’s the part I started questioning. Nobody really prepares you for the reality that you can be doing everything “right” and STILL feel financially overwhelmed in your 20s. That realization pushed me to start learning things outside the classroom too: • digital skills • content creation • beginner online income opportunities • ways to create more options for myself Not because school is useless. Because I don’t want my future resting on ONE plan alone. Business students / college students… I genuinely want your take: Should a degree still be enough anymore? 👀 ↓
