I started watching Thai BL with the OG Lovesick the series in 2016, and before Sotus, all the other Thai BLs I watched had a lot of cheating with the main characters and villainizing of the female characters 😔 it was so refreshing to not have the main characters cheating in Sotus, and also for the only female characters to not be awful people! I rewatched Sotus a bunch of times because of it 💖

this is actually so insightful 💗 SOTUS was my first bl series, and i was literally a child back then, so i definitely didnt fully grasp all the details or nuances in the series. i just knew it was iconic and that i loved it 😭 looking back now, im realizing there was so much more going on with the characters and their dynamics than i understood at the time. i need to rewatch sotus rn

i think also what makes it so good is even with their opposing opinions not one did either of them feel the need to change just to be accepted, they didn't have to compromise their moral standing, yes they end up being open to learning and seeing from the other's pov but that never force them to change, if anything them not changing strengthens their relationship

I love this serie, Is my confort serie. I love this slow burn they have, how their love growth trough the time, is more sexy this than the kisses or +18 senses. I love that they have this until now, they are the kings of slow burn

This is my first parents. 2016– my first ever thai BL. Those were the times where its so difficult to find an episode & you are in the mercy of LazySubs or PinkMilk Subs for you to be able to watch it.

I remember not quite liking the first eps, what with all the frowns and shouting, I stopped watching right away. But then I saw clips of Krist being the sunshine he is and decided to give it a chance. And then o understood I was no better than kongbop and have watched the series at least twice a year since then

This vid making me realize all over again why I love this show.😭 The characters, the story being allowed to breathe was such a good way of putting what I feel like was missing with alot of shows lately. I think I only ever felt it again on ThamePo and I remember thinking why it seems to be dragging on some parts (in a good way!!) but its really just giving space to the characters to really feel things--never thought of it that way 😁 Anwz, looking forward to your posts esp with the 10th anniv coming soon *screams in fangirl*

This is why SOTUS is my top tier , favorite series and comfort series because of the love grow, they didnt make each other lose the spark but they proudly support each other and through the time the love for eo is making strong.

Yeah, I completely agree with you. First of all, I’m so glad I found your channel—I’m definitely subscribing! This is honestly one of the best, most in-depth takes I’ve seen, whereas a lot of other content can feel a bit cringe to me. If we're talking about well-written shows, I highly recommend these two. Reset: Hands-down one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Even with a few cheesy moments, it executes the classic tropes flawlessly. Everything blends beautifully into the plot and it completely stands out. Love Upon a Time: Another masterpiece with top-notch acting. I initially doubted the plot and wondered why he went back to the past, but the final episode tied everything together so perfectly. I'm so glad I didn't give up on it. You absolutely have to check these out! I'm just really happy to find a channel that genuinely appreciates great storytelling. Keep up the amazing work!

I love your analyses. I totally agree,SOTUS is the masterpiece it is thanks to the actors and the script. Not a single episode feels unnecesary; even the comedy doesn't feel forced—everything flows naturally, showing how the characters develop in their day to day lives rather than just having the world revolve conveniently around the couple (which also helped inter fans get to know Thai culture better). I’ve watched it a thousand times, and it still moves me every single time🥺
