@thats.meow.rescue: Some goodbyes happen slowly. 💔 Daddy Cat came home from the vet today. His kidneys are failing. His little body is getting tired. He’s weak, he’s eating less, and he’s slowly saying goodbye to this world.😭 The vets told me it might be time. But he’s not in pain. So instead of making today his last day, I brought him home.❤️‍🩹 Home to his favourite places. Home to the cats he’s lived alongside for years. Home to the people who love him. Today, Phillip and Florys came to visit him. 🥹 No words. Just gentle headbutts, slow blinks, and quiet company. Maybe they know. Maybe they don’t. But somehow it felt like they were telling their old friend, “We’re here.” 😭 I don’t know how many sunsets we have left together. One day? A few more? All I know is that every extra cuddle, every little purr, every evening spent where he belongs is a gift. ❤️ When the time comes, I’ll let him go with love. Until then...
