The group that he’s in might be a cult idk. But I think he joined with good intentions and seeking a community that he can feel close to. He seems very calm and at peace so if that’s what he wants then I’m happy for him.

everyone loves calling it a cult but it's simply people devoting themselves to a religion just like a nun or priest would. it comes off a bit racist or at least assumptious that just because they dress diff and act differently it's a cult. it wasn't for me but definitely not a cult lol. you have freedom to come and go as you please. they just believe in a few core principles but you still don't have to be all in. you can be a casual follower as well.
