@experimentingwithdecor: One thing I noticed while reading Exodus this week completely challenged me. Pharaoh wasn’t just refusing God’s command… He kept trying to negotiate it. “Take only the men.” “Leave your livestock.” Every compromise sounded reasonable. But Moses never accepted a version of obedience that God hadn’t asked for. That made me wonder… How many times have I tried to make God’s instructions fit my comfort instead of simply obeying? The enemy often doesn’t begin by asking us to walk away from God. He begins by asking us to compromise. Today, may we have the courage to stand firm on what God has spoken—even when compromise seems easier. “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.” — 1 Corinthians 16:13
