I’m going into year 3. Towards the end of year 2, I made a note to structure my days this way but we’re on block schedule so I have to figure that part out.

Once you got to Thursday you lost me :/ as a math teacher I don’t think I can do that lol even though I do something similar I tend to do 2 days first day is instructional and second day is independent work

I’ve always wanted to do this, but we have such a limited time to get through our content. I feel like I need to be teaching every day bc we have like five days for our first unit, block schedule, but I really want to implement more structure this year if anybody has ideas

Maybe something more like a daily structure than a weekly structure so spread it out and keep kids engaged throughout the block bc a whole block of independent time might be too much for them to handle haha then a kid who missed Monday and Tuesday is lost
