I ordered an apple pie yesterday after asking if they still had them. Driving down the road I bit into my pie, not paying attention, and I cried. They served me the bake cardboard. Life is no longer worth living without the fried apple pie.

This reminded how much my Gram liked these. She passed in 1986. She grew up as a poor farm girl during the depression. She was frugal, but loved these pies and a Filet O Fish.
