Don't ever try to start 8 years old petrol. First - change petrol, coolant and oil. Only after that - you can try to work on it

change the motor oil, power steering fluid, oil filter, cabin filter, fuel, battery and coolant. Thats most of the stuff to be able to do anything else. After that you can clean it and start doing the other repairs that are due
