I’m not in the hair industry, but I struggle with work/life balance soooo badly. I’m so bad with work boundaries. Responding to non-urgent texts from my c-suite at 8pm. Waking up and checking my phone first thing. Sacrificing lunches and workouts for work. All of us ladies are just doing our best; let’s remember our families, our friends, our health - and to uplift your fellow women across industries because they’re also probably doing their best ♥️I was reminded yesterday that you never know someone’s hidden struggle.

It isn’t real if you think it’s always 50/50. Some days it’s 85% work and then 15% family but that is because I have a strong partner who can help back me up when I need it. Look at your life/time in large chunks. If you are averaging a happy balance, which is different for everyone, you should give yourself a pat on the back. Cause if you aren’t celebrating you, nobody else will.
