i always avoided french toast as it’s never been my thing…until my mum suggested this omg you’ll need: - 1 thick slice of banana bread - 1 egg - 40-50ml any milk - 1tsp vanilla extract - a dash of cinnamon - a knob of butter (to serve): - greek yogurt - fresh strawberries - icing sugar method: 1. begin by whisking the egg, milk, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a shallow bowl until thoroughly combined. 2. grab a thick slice of banana bread and submerge into the egg mixture, turning it over to ensure the slice is evenly coated (don’t submerge for too long as you don’t want it to become flimsy). 3. melt the butter in a pan on a medium heat and place the slice of bread right onto the pan. fry for a couple minutes ir until golden brown. 4. using a flat spatula, carefully flip the toast over and brown on the other side for a couple minutes. 5. serve whilst warm, and top with a generous dollop of greek yogurt. 6. place any fresh fruit on top (i use strawberries) and finish with a dusting of icing sugar… enjoy xxx🍞 #bananabread #breakfast #frenchtoast #EasyRecipes #yogurt
