She went to different therapists. If she was so concerned about the voices she said she heard or the thoughts of harming her kids, why didn’t she say anything? She would have immediately been taken in.

I think people can’t fathom that a mother would willingly and voluntarily kill her children so it’s easier to ignore that she did that and blame it on a legitimate, real world crisis.

No doctor or PA is going to order multiple meds which are the same type of meds at the same time, unless the patient is doctor shopping meaning going to several doctors and not being honest by telling the doctors what you are on. Lindsey was a RN.

I’m on pristiq lamictal and adhd meds. This whole case has been triggering for me bc it makes me feel like I should fear my future since I’m on multiple meds. But your explanation makes so much more sense tysm

I’m a pharmacy tech but I don’t work in retail so I know it’s only controlled substances but I know usually pharmacists can see all the prescriptions (assuming they’re being filled at the same pharmacy) and would flag getting so many psych meds which realistically would just be a double check with the prescriber and a justification. But I guess I’m also thinking from the perspective of working in a hospital where we can see everything someone is taking all the time. Thanks for answering!!
