And sometimes they remove you because they think you’re the problem but in fact you’re not in the drama so they think you are it. Work places now are wayyyy too emotional and babies. Do a good job 8 hours a day. Go home and repeat. No need for anything else. Do your job. Shut your mouth, smile and move along.

Just resigned after 18 years and the last 5 years with a narcissistic manager who created a toxic work environment. So many emotions. Angry that I’ll soon be unemployed and recovering from burnout. Relieved I won’t ever have to set foot back in that place ever again.
