Tipping is out of control. Restaurants should pay as staff appropriately.

If you can not afford to pay your staff a living wage, you can not afford to run a business.

If you can not afford to pay your staff a living wage then you do not have a viable business and should shut down. In normal countries, waiting staff are paid a wage.

100%. as an 18 yr old, these comments ab how it’s not mandatory are crazy. Tips are expected in the U.S and fund our waiters/waitressss, if you can’t afford a 20% tip, don’t go out to eat!!!

People going out to eat can afford the food. They are not responsible for a servers wages. Their boss is literally paying them a pittance, its modern slavery.

I will say this only once ... I will pay exactly what it says on the menu for the food .... how the restaurant gets that food from the kitchen to my table is THEIR responsibility
