I recently brought the red skin to try and found them too dry and starchy. Thought I mightve overcooked them first time but 2nd attempt was the same 🙃 so ill stick with my orange ones, cant go wrong

I’m old enough to remember that sweet potatoes here in Aus were pretty much all the white ones. Then when I was an adult arrived the Kumara, the orange sweet potatoes, which were a lot tastier, are they the same as the ones you have there? Or were they a sub species?
