Back in 2019, I had health complications and died. Before being brought back, I can't tell you what the brain is actually doing, but I CAN tell you it was the most peaceful thing you could ever imagine. Moreso. It's hard not to think of that peace on a daily basis. It was beautiful. Safe travels, friend.

My dad did maid yesterday, we had a celebration that he could participate in for his goodbyes. It was sad but peaceful and a memory of happy goodbyes. I wish you a calm and serene journey to the other side ❤️

I'm in Australia and ours is known as VAD ( Voluntary Assisted Dying). You have the right to make the choice, it's your body, your pain, your fear, I too will choose VAD when the time comes. Wishing you love and strength xx

My husband chose this here in New Zealand but here we call it assisted dying as it is an injection by a doctor. It was swift and peaceful. I wish you a safe transition. Brave decision

My dad chose to discontinue dialysis rather than prolonging his suffering with no prospect of quality of life. His last ten days were grace-filled, because he departed this life with dignity. I wish you similar grace for the final steps you take upon this earth, and know that the footprints you leave on loved ones’ hearts last long after you take your last breath. I don’t know you, but I’m so sorry you’re in this position. I work at a nursing home with a LOT of Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, it’s not a worthy life. We have a 70 year old gentleman who literally can’t remember what happened 3 seconds ago. He wanders the halls 24/7 yelling “can someone help me?”.. he’s constantly scared, frustrated or angry to a point where he is starting to become violent toward staff and other residents. It’s really sad.
