@boiled_walrus: Deltarune is so pretty on a CRT screen. It’s hard to get on camera but the way the colors look in person is unreal. While im sure deltarune wasn’t made with with it being viewed this way in mind, it definitely enhances the feel of the game this way. Realistically unless this TV does 480p you aren't running it in the right resolution for the games assets. Because an SD CRT will only do 240p/480i which this looks like it's doing 480i because no scanline gaps.

if you have a steam deck you can set the deck and game to run at 680x480 natively and it will fix the scan line cropping!

if you want to get it to take video or pictures correctly you can get an app called open cam and set your shutter speed to 1/60 you need to match the refresh rate and you won't get that dark banding anymore.
