As weird as this sounds… we had a Cummins X15 with a complaint of a vibration and we ended up using a PICO scope to figure out the vibration was coming from the engines dampener. Changed it out and no more vibration.

I had one. I did the same thing on chased my tail forever, and it ended up being a bad bearing in the back section of the transmission.

unhook drive line at transmission and recheck may be bearing in transmission going bad.. or may even be an out of balance engine
