I’m Kazakh myself, and honestly, I was surprised by Jungwon’s actions too. We don’t know what actually happened—maybe the staff gave it to him, or maybe he chose to wear it himself. However, I think it’s important for him to explain the situation. Especially because many people associate this incident with Borat. As many know, Borat’s portrayal of Kazakhstan has long been considered offensive and full of stereotypes by many Kazakhs. That’s why this isn’t just a joke for many fans from Kazakhstan—it’s a sensitive topic. I understand why Kazakh ENGENEs felt hurt. Personally, I’m not going to stop supporting ENHYPEN or listening to their music because this could simply be a misunderstanding. Still, I believe it would be better if Jungwon addressed the situation during a live stream or in a video and explained his actions. That would help clear up the misunderstanding and reduce the hate directed at him.
