@nourishingapothecary: Most people don’t realise that under-eating can actually contribute to an inflammatory environment. In this video, senior fertility naturopath Mel explains why skipping meals can lead to blood sugar dips, increased cortisol and why that matters if you’re living with endometriosis. Pain management isn’t always about adding another supplement. Sometimes it starts with the foundations: eating enough, balancing your blood sugar, supporting your nervous system and reducing unnecessary inflammatory triggers. At Nourishing Apothecary, we take a root-cause approach to endometriosis, helping women understand what’s happening in their body and creating personalised treatment plans to support pain, inflammation, hormones and fertility. If you’re struggling with endometriosis and you’re ready for a personalised approach, book a FREE discovery call with Mel or one of our senior fertility naturopaths. 📍 Australia-wide consultations via Zoom. 🌿 www.nourishingapothecary.com #endometriosis #endometriosisawareness #pelvicpain

whatever helps u sleep boo :
As someone who has endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pcos, calcium build up on cervix etc I was eating normal and staying in hella pain been bedridden stuck in bed loving on heating pad popping pills for pain . I’ll tell u now stop eating multiple meals and it will help . I have gained 100 lbs being bedridden and since I went to one meal a day I have been able to get out of bed and move around and start working out to lose the weight I have gained . So this for me is not correct .

This may work for some or a lot. But from experience, my endo flares and stays bad no matter what. It actually got the worst when I was the healthiest I ever was. Sometimes this stuff helps and sometimes the disease has already taken over and it doesn’t. Even day to day.

i can't believe it took me 20 years to realize my worst endo flares were correlated with not eating enough. Once I addressed that, I stopped having 12/10 level pain. Now my periods are mild-moderate.

With nausea, major food aversion, stressing about what meals to make, eating 3 meals a day got incredibly difficult - but I’ve been trying hard to make it a priority the last few weeks and already I’m noticing a difference. Obviously my blood sugar is faring out better by the end of the day, but I also got my period on day 29 (my old normal) instead of day 32/3 this month, as well as less pain. Figuring out meals is still extremely stressful though…

This makes so much sense! I often skip meals when I'm in pain, but this explanation about inflammation is so clear. I track my daily digestion in Endora, and it really highlights the link.
