The T-90M has strengths like lower fuel consumption, a diesel engine, and explosive reactive armor. But those don't automatically make it better. The Abrams has stronger crew protection with compartmentalized ammunition and blowout panels, superior optics and fire control, and generally better situational awareness. A longer barrel alone doesn't guarantee better performance, and no modern tank is "easy to penetrate" from the front. Both tanks can be destroyed by modern anti-tank weapons if hit in vulnerable areas.
