this is real when you have post partum cause In my case whenever my baby cried when he was little, I get urges to cover him with a pillow just to shut him up and whenever the baby cries It gets really annoying and I felt that my baby wasn't safe with me that time, and I see myself crying everytime when those thoughts comes up and I'll just pray afterwards and calm myself.

here in most african homes, after a woman gives birth your family comes around (especially ur mum or inlaw if alive) to help with holding, cooking , there are even special nieces for sweeping, in most african homes giving birth is something big, they usually leave after the 3rd month and that's whn we outdoor and name the baby.... I have lil idea of postpartum coz I had a lot of help even doh my mum had died 20 yrs b4 I gave birth. feel sorry for women with this condition 😞

I think the best part of this episode was not only did they demonstrate post partum depression, they put a things at the end with real contacts for mother’s suffering with PPD so if someone related, they could immediately access help

Buck tried to tell him, Chim didn't listen. Her leaving was the saving grace at the time. she needed real help etc.. I hate how the show down played post partum when in reality this was the closest thing to the best outcome she could have done to make her baby safe. we dont all get this option
