@anyaturner98: Even on holiday, I’m still making a little time to keep my knees happy 🐚🐬🍺 No gym. No fancy equipment. Just a resistance band that takes up almost no room in my suitcase (and yes… that’s a beer in hand 🍺) Exercise breakdown: ✨ Single leg TKE (terminal knee extension) Targets quad strength, single leg knee control and tracking. Really good for improving stability and control on one side at a time. The single leg RDL variation also challenges balance and hip stability ✨ Spanish squats An fab option for loading the quads and patellar tendon while keeping the torso more upright. Great for building tolerance around the front of the knee. You can also hold the position rather than continuous squats ✨ Hip flexor kick outs isometric Challenges hip flexor strength while the quad works to maintain knee position against resistance. Good for sprint mechanics, knee stability and overall lower body control. ✨ Lunge Isometric strengthens the quads and glutes while teaching the knee to stay stable against external forces (can be done without band) ✨ Standing Banded Adduction strengthens the adductors (inner thigh muscles), which help control the leg and contribute to stability at the knee and hip You don’t need to avoid knee movement!
