Insurance in the US wasn't like this before Obama. It didn't cost nearly as much, out of pocket was around 1k, and you could actually USE it.

I find it so funny that people thought Obamacare was gonna fix all this. Prescription drug prices are still out of control insurance companies don’t have to pay for crap they don’t want to. Even if you’ve reached your maximum and millions of people are still without healthcare can we keep pretending that either party cares about us Republicans or Democrats and just realize they are all the same except what they lie about.

My out-of-pocket in Switzerland is 300$. The insurance pays 90% of the expenses beyond 300$ and 100% beyond 2000$.

Here in Norway the "cap" is $300. After that all health care and medications are totally free out the current year 👍🏻

I reached my out of pocket max of 12k and did as much as I could the rest of the year. The insurance company still chose to deny my acne medicine and gave no reason. 🙄
