It's cool how many parallels there are between Black Flag and Red Dead 2. A story about a lonesome outlaw who wishes for a better life, but ultimately is unable to bridge himself between his true self and the idea of the lost paradise he had to sacrifice to earn freedom, which is what he truly yearned for. Part of an iconic group of scoundrels and thieves that meet... a not very happy end as the story goes on. Hunted by the government and having to fend off from traitors inside said group of allied criminals. If they had included Freedom Cry in Resynched, it would've been even closer to playing as John in the epilogue, years after Edward/Arthur's death.
