I hit a RAT one time and sobbed the entire rest of my commute home. I was inconsolable. Sure some could say it was just a rat, but I didn’t care it wasn’t my life to take.

Me almost losing my fingers try to help a juvenile snapping turtle cross the road. I don't care if they're mean, it's not their fault we put a road in the middle of their woods, but I had to hold him like the worlds angriest hamburger.

I accidentally ran over a rabbit and felt so guilty I donated $100 to the local wildlife rehab facility 😭 The poor thing was beyond saving.

I popped my tire one time dodging a squirrel who had its leg ran over and was in the middle of the road. I stopped my car, put the little guy in my passenger seat, called my boyfriend so he could take the squirrel in his car to the nearest animal hospital while I changed my tire. He picked up the phone, and drove the half hour there and back because it was important to me.

How beautiful❤️this is my sweet husband after pulling over to pick up a dead squirrel (with a towel) in the middle of the road to lay it under a tree to have a peaceful resting place 😭❤️he’s done this so many times.
