@ben_goeshiking: This is my favorite trail in Meriden, if I’m not including “Black Pond Trail to Beseck Mt” (Meriden/Middlefield). It really doesn’t get old. I love the ridge-line views on the out and back and also the unique view of black pond near the trailhead. Such a scenic, well-kept, and enjoyable trail. Would you be willing to share more details as to the entrance for this one/where to park? I do have the AllTrails app so even if you shared what you used for that. I was hiking over at black pond yesterday so I had been right near there!
