just a tiny optimistic note here: at the end of the game we finally see ellie draw joel without crossing out his eyes, symbolizing finally letting go of the trauma that haunted her. leaving abby alive also helped her heal, knowing joel wouldn't want that for her. she accepts what happens and moves on. the ending is bittersweet but because we finally see their last conversation where joel wants ellie to live and tells her he would do all of it again just so she has a chance of a normal life, i dont see why ellie would give that up. she knows she has people who love her, and knows that they are the most imporant thing you can ahave in life. so, i dont think she killed herself, it would make joel's actions and even his death pointless

when she saw that poster of that skinny model in tlou 1 she was wondering why she was so skinny and when she first moved in jackson she secretely stole all the jerky (according to what dina said), after joels death she started eating less (according to what ellie said before she left dina)

i’m so sad that people hate her for leaving dina. i LOVE dina, and she deserved better. that’s true. but i also understand why ellie did what she did. joel was so important to her, and yes, dina is important to her too, and she should have chosen a future with her, rather than clinging to joel and seeking revenge for him. but losing someone close to you is so fucking traumatic. especially in this world with zombies. i understand ellie with all my heart, and, to be honest, i think joel’s death affected her so deeply that she carried on not just for revenge, but more as a su1(1d£ mission. losing loved ones is something that eats away at you from the inside so intensely. i hate it when people get outraged that a mentally ill, traumatized person BEHAVES LIKE A MENTALLY ILL TRAUMATIZED PERSON. tbh, if i were in a world full of zombies, where there’s so much despair anyway, and on top of that the person who’s important to you is dead, i’d genuinely kms.

i mean it's obvious, isn't it? ellie being able to easily kill abby, instead decided to have a last fight, in her head i think she thought “it's okay if i die here” like “may the best win” (english is not my first language)

The third game is probably gonna revolve around abby and lev,during the starting of the epilog sequence.Ellie is wearing a bracelet she didn't wear to santa barbara,meaning she went back to Jackson and her and dina somewhat reconciled.Her leaving the guitar is her essentially leaving joel in the past.

I believe shes going to find the fireflies too. Being the only immune character, I doubt that they would kill her off that quickly. I think shes going to try and offer herself as the cure, just like when Joel saved her in the hospital.

She went to go find the fireflies and sacrifice herself for the potential of a cure. If there’s a third game it’ll be about her and Abby’s seperate journey to find them, likely crossing paths at some point. Bonus points if Tommy is hunting Abby the whole game.
