It’s the grey/yellow filter. The wrongest part about it is the sky, while of course the Mediterranean world has grey days not the constant grey of the show and it flattens everything. The color of the buildings, of the grass, ecc should all be popping more and the sky would do that. The Mediterranean flora can look very dry and sandy, very deserty even some very fertile land, but it never looks flat and desaturated.

I watched the build up and they wanted it too look more Mediterranean than kings landing and they added olive trees around the houses

I live in a (high) desert and rabbits are everywhere. They are not fluffy and cuddly but they exist.

It’s supposed to be more green, it’s the borderlands of the reach and Crownlands, both of which are fertile grounds. It’s supposed to be more similar to a French market town, with farmland and a large town. The Mediterranean feel works for coastal Dorne and the Westerlands

It could easily be Dorne near the mountains. The simple fact is they got it wrong, it absolutely should not look like it belongs in the Middle East or the Mediterranean
