Standard Door. How would you suggest cutting off around 4mm from the bottom? It isn't a solid door. So there's not much tolerance for cutting the top or bottom. Only tool on hand would be a jigsaw. What would you suggest as the easiest cleanest way of doing this?

one detail to consider is that these blades require more pressure than standard blades. the teeth pointing up pulls the wood up when cutting, and that pulls the saw down. these blades push the wood down and the saw up. it's not a big difference with softer materials like wood but it's still a difference!

That is a reverse-tooth blade (also commonly called a down-cut blade or reverse-pitch blade). Specifically, in Bosch's jigsaw blade range, this is the Bosch T101BR ("Clean for Wood"). The "R" in the model code stands for Reverse.

what will help is having a sharp blade, go slow so don't push, the right blade for the material (hard or soft wood) and put some painters tape on as that reduces the tear out as well 😊
