Possum :
Current Canadian wildfires are primarily driven by record-high temperatures, prolonged drought, and widespread dry lightning rather than a lack of land management. Half of these fires ignite in remote, unpopulated boreal regions where roads do not exist, making active firefighting impossible and leaving them to burn naturally

Canada is very big with lots of forest that’s very unpopulated. Combine that with drought, record high temperatures, etc you’re gonna have fires. This is such a ridiculous take to blame Canada as if we don’t have fires that send smoke their way too. And what do they do they send firefighters to help us.

canada has 111 uncontrollable wildfires and America has 68. yes Canada has more, but America has a lot too. This isn't a Canadian consequence, it's a human and nature consequence.

sure it's all because they're not cutting enough trees down. That's the simplest explanation alright but it's hardly the whole enchilada.

So when they happen here it’s a policy issue as well right? For example, ignoring obvious climate change.
