@codemia_systemdes: Never ship a new version to 100% of your users at once. Do this instead. 👇 The dangerous way is a big-bang deploy: push the new version to every server at the same time. If there's a bug, every single user hits it instantly, your whole service goes down together, and now you're doing a frantic rollback under pressure. A canary deploy shrinks the blast radius. The name comes from the canary in a coal mine. You release the new version to just a tiny slice of traffic first, say 1%, while everyone else stays on the old version. Then you watch that canary: its error rate, its latency, its logs. If it stays healthy, you ramp it up gradually, 1% to 10% to 50% to 100%. If it goes bad, you route that 1% straight back to the old version, and only a handful of users ever noticed. Same idea as a canary release, but automated and metric-driven. It's how big platforms ship many times a day without holding their breath.
