It looks like the owner tried to drop the waist and forgot to account for the width of the hips. I’m a very beginner sewer and even I know that 😭 why is it that the first mock up looks the best 😅

okay. I'm a seamstress, and I do custom orders. this whole situation pisses me off. the designer clearly cant sew, and had bad fabric knowledge. I'm worried this will make people lose faith in custom clothing 😭😭😭 I promise some of us are actually skilled and know what we are doing

The fabric of the final dress is nothing like the fabric at fitting 2 or 3. It was wild, that the dress colors kept changing, and she was never in a finished dress that just needed minor adjusments. I agree that the designer outed herself and her side of the story did more harm to her image than anything the bride made public.
