George Russell was losing time in the straights again, and in silverstone Mercedes confirmed then that there were straight line issues, so I assume there are still issues because it doesn’t make sense to me. This is one of George’s strongest tracks and yet he’s losing time.

Toto confirmed on the interview that George is indeed experiencing issues with a speed deficit on the straights, which he described as: "a problem that we still can't explain..." 🙄 and he said that a number of George’ deficits are indeed in the corners and he was already able to trim them down to qualifying. But that couldn't change anything because of the issues with his car. He emphasized that George’s performance in the last two races is "is not his fault," because the team hasn't been able to find a solution in his car (WHAT DA HECK!🤬) Rally I’m done! Incompetence this incompetence that. They just don’t care man. So many weeks with the same issue, so many qualified people in his team and garage and you tell me they still can’t figure this shit out? If this was on AK’s side, they would have moved mountains to fix this overnight 😒

George talked about it in post race interviews, his car has had problems with straight line speed since Austria and they have no idea why. they have changed everything, George changed his driving style, and they don't know. Toto seems happy to throw George under the bus by not admiting how bad it is. Shov was downplaying it yesterday. Yet all data shows something seriously wrong.
