My dad cannot believe that my endometriosis pain is similar to his pancreatitis pain. He described it as a “hot searing pain that felt like a knife was trying to cut its way out of his body”. Yeah that’s been my experience with my period cramps SINCE I WAS 9 YEARS OLD

I broke my wrist when I was 9; my dad told me to stop exaggerating the amount of pain I was in. My mom agreed with him, and they only took me to a doctor a few days later when the bruising and swelling got bad and I didn’t stop complaining about the pain.

every time i was sick or in pain and wanted to lie down, my ex would also miraculously become sick or in pain so he could go to bed and i would have to stay up with our son. he never even worked a real job. he was just lazy and loved attention.

My dad faked a stroke for these reasons. I fully believed he was hospitalised for a stroke until a few years later, when my sister told me she had seen his notes and there was nothing about a stroke on his file. He’s a master manipulator.
