A shocking case of alleged AI misuse has surfaced, where two men reportedly created a fake image using artificial intelligence to make it appear that a man had been arrested. They then allegedly showed the fabricated image to the victim’s family and demanded money. Fearing the arrest was real, the family reportedly paid PKR 40,000. After discovering that the image was fake and the arrest had never taken place, the victim appealed to the Government of Punjab to take strict legal action against those responsible.
