So, can I add a little more I formation i remembered from his story? Because in his story, it's mentioned that (having started during the time before Ena was merged into Xipe) as a planet was/is dying, the "three-faced god" that Aventurine/Kakavasha worshipped would send a "child of luck" to the world. We're never told if the child is good luck or bad luck, just luck. With how his story goes, Aventurnine's luck is a literal metronome: he goes from good luck to bad luck and then back to good at a near snap of a finger. He's even stated that since he was put into slavery as a child it's like he goes from one master to another (his current being the Stonehearts of the IPC). Aventurine's luck (thanks to the Aeons/"gods") is a different kind because, as you said, because it seems to be THEY want to see what he will do. And whoever he makes acquaintance with, they seem to try and want to stay on his good side - and for good reason, to be sure.
