Guys, I have stupid reasoning here for us to cope with, but think about it, realistically Wolverine could’ve killed Morph at any point in that fight. Genuinely he shouldn’t have missed. Even when he did stab Morph, it wasn’t a killing blow. So Wolverine was holding back from the full blow of the attacks. He was trying to fight back. But the broods whole purpose was to mate, so obviously they wouldn’t listen to that reason because morph can’t mate with Wolverine in the sense they want, but when they transformed into Jean then they could’ve. It would’ve hit the brood more. (This is my excuse despite knowing it’s more than likely Disney just being homophobic and Marvel pushing a relationship most people hate and treating Morph like a pawn)
