Girl! I love this! Thank you! I tried to battle it in a separate video that was going viral with inaccurate information. Good point- Where did the $70k bill number even come from because I haven’t seen that anywhere!! The bill would have been in Grace’s name. Also Chelsea said they had trip insurance so I’m hoping that helped pay for it.

Former SAR volunteer here. 95% of all SAR groups do not charge to come get you. Private SAR groups do. We receive grants, so fundraisers, and have private donors to make sure we have what we need to come help you. We give up nights, weekends, and spend months dedicating our time to be there for people in their time of need. I had to give up doing what I love and helping people because of a medical condition that took doctors years to figure out and get under control.

Yes and her hiking mates were mostly all similar body types and completed the trail, so clearly it wasn't because of her size. I was happy to see that the comments on the actual videos from her friends were positive and from people wishing her well

ANDDDDD she was on her way down! She had gone up, had lunch with everyone, and then started back down and that's when they noticed she wasn't doing okay. I appreciate the correct info getting out. Literally that day I saw the edited video, laughed, and then wanted to do my own research so I looked up the storytime on what happened and was immediately on her side.

hearing how she was in such distress that she had diarrhea on the trail confirmed to me that it was a serious health event, literally nobody would want to have that happen to them on a trail and let alone in front of other people. That’s very obviously a body in distress.
