@cophrosyne: stiles unable to tell his friends his biggest fear because it already happened, twice. at first watch, stiles being distraught about his father not knowing who he is seems like a normal response, which it is. except this wasn’t the first time one of his parents didn’t recognize him, bringing a deeper meaning to his reaction which is so much more heartbreaking than being forgotten altogether. stiles not only had lived through this before but it happened again with his father and everyone else. i’m not sure if the writers threw in that line of him being afraid of blindness as some kind of joke or if it was on purpose. it would fit into his character to deflect the deep question of what he feared most, not wanting to bring up the fact that everyone he loved at one point had forgotten who he was, just like his mother. ♪ motion soundtrack picture by radiohead #stilesstilinski
