Memphian here, mind you this was days after a National Guard soldier shot and KILLED a 20 year old in Memphis. The media keeps leaving that part out. Also, Tamboli's is in Midtown Memphis which is well known and historically more liberal area than the rest of Memphis! Context matters.

Just some context, Tamboli’s has been in business for over 8 years, a staple in midtown Memphis. Midtown Memphis is bluer than the sky. It’s a beloved restaurant.
