every year I fly to Nairobi for family vacation. I know what you are talking about however I believe it has to do with your mindset. When I come to this country I come with the intent that I can tip people who are less fortunate. This experience humbles me, and it reminds me how fortunate me and my family are to be able to give. Honestly 1 dollar tip might not be appreciated in Canada but here people will appreciate that dollar once its converted.So I don't even wait for them to ask, I just try to bless who ever God puts in my path. it could be a wonderful experience if you just change your mindset. Kenyans are the most humble welcoming people I have ever seen.❤️

I understand that you feel it is not right. Of course it is not but people are going through alot out here. If you can tip someone great if you can't even though they ask you don't take it personally. These people work for more hours with little pay and the only people who can appreciate them is the customers. No one at the end of the day will come to even tell them they did a good job even their boss. Anyway if you can put a smile on anybody's face by tipping or even just doing anything casual I think it's worth it.
