I’m a physics teacher, I got this. Only worthy people can influence Mjolnir’s momentum. If it’s at rest, Stan lee and his chain cannot cause it to move. If it is in motion, Spiderman and his web cannot cause it to slow.

Because mjolnir isn’t stupid. It knows the intentions of the user. Cap threw it with the intent of helping Spider-Man, Spider-Man is riding it with out the intent of using the powers of Thor so it’s fine carrying on.

This is explained in age of Ultron when they talk about Mjolnir going in an elevator. “It would still go up.” “Elevator isn’t worthy.” If an inanimate object touches or is attached to the hammer, it will still move and the hammer as well as the object will be unaffected. Because Peter wasn’t touching the hammer himself, but was attached to the web on the hammer, he was able to be carried in the direction the hammer was going.
