I’m so glad I kinda grasped it 💔 it’s basically just a whole time loop.. I’m bad at explaining but basically, Yukiji was never the one Tomoe fell inlove with, it was always Nanami, because she had altered the past and had pretended to BE Yukiji, and obviously, Altering the past makes it what actually happened, so the whole time tomoe had just been inlove with nanami! It’s a whole loop because Nanami and tomoe only met because Mikage had left the shrine, even tho it was future Nanami altering the past telling mikage to leave and send Nanami there to break the curse.. Hence why during that god thing Nanami went to, Mikage had told her that he NEEDED to bring Nanami and tomoe together, and Nanami only knowing why he said that in the future after she alters the past, even tho the past she altered was now the past that is now the past that always had been. So even tho tomoe had actually fell inlove with Nanami those 500 years ago, 500 years later, due to Mikage leaving the shrine as told by Nanami, he fell inlove with her again despite loosing his memories. It’s all super confusing but whatever, to shorten it, they were always made to be together, soulmates! And really all that matters is that Tomoe turns human at the end, and Nanami and Tomoe get married and have a child together!! (I don’t think I’ve ever dedicated myself to trying to understand time travel and anime lore since Sote, and Sote was really difficult and even now I don’t understand it.. atleast I understand kamisama kiss🤤) this is for ppl who don’t understand 🥹
