@myenglishcountrycottage: Bringing in the Geraniums. Hmm just a little bit confused...the sky is white and grey. I am cold. Where is the blueness and the warm sunshine? This is not a world I recognise. I have even shut the door. This does not compute. I awoke to perform my Snow White morning routine (throwing open the curtains to sing with the birds, commune with nature, smile at the sunshine and ground my bare feet on the dried grass) but was thwarted at the curtain reveal: no sunshine, silent birds and a cold wind. Had I slept through summer? Was this possible? Surely Dottie would have woken me before now for her urgent "we must go for a walk now, it's been about three months since my last walk" maybe this time she was telling the truth? I have combated the onset of winter by bringing in my Appleblossom Geraniums, I don't want them to get frostbitten and they hark back to a summer of warmth and sunshine that I now barely remember. I shall ruffle their leaves and inhale the scent of long forgotten summer. Happy definitely not being at all dramatic goodbye to summer Saturday x #geraniums #summerinteriors #sittingroom
