Seeing Stars - Doja Cat Full Song (Unreleased) "Seeing Stars" is an unreleased song by Doja Cat. It was intended for her fourth studio album, Scarlet, but was scrapped due to sample clearance issues. On April 18, 2023, Doja Cat posted to her Instagram Stories an image of Scarlet's original track listing. Some scrapped tracks can be seen, including "Seeing Stars", "Loon1e", and "Disrespectful". On the same day, the song was played among many other Scarlet sessions on an Instagram live, but only few-second snippets were previewed. On October 26, 2024, Doja Cat premiered an exclusive Airbnb Experience where 15 select fans spend time with her and watch her perform. She previewed some unreleased songs off Scarlet, possibly making it onto her fifth album Vie, and some entirely new tracks that'll likely make an appearance on the next album. "Seeing Stars" being one of the songs, it was confirmed the song wasn't released due to copyright issues. The audio for the song doesn't remain available online, as there was a no-phone policy. In the only video released of the event, Doja stated that she'd tell the backstory of the song. Off camera, she names the people who wouldn’t let her release the song, and then back on camera she states that “they didn’t let us clear that. And they never will. You guys are going to be the only people to hear it." On November 24, 2025, Doja Cat shared an image to X (formerly Twitter) on her alternative account, @swipeforsin, of the song playing on her laptop, captioned “Like 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭”. Jay Versace, who is Doja’s hairstylist and frequent producer, replied with “we ate ngl”. The version Doja was playing was recorded on June 18, 2023, the final version. On January 7, 2026, Doja Cat shared very short snippets of unreleased Scarlet songs "Seeing Stars", "Shampoo", and "Blink Twice" to her alternative X account before shortly deleting them. On June 14, 2026, a 13-second snippet of the song was leaked online.
