Wanda didn't just give Hulk a nightmare in AoU, she showed him the future. Tony saw the Avengers wiped out because of Wanda's mind-warp, but Hulk? He saw the catastrophic destruction his presence would cause if he stayed on Earth. Paralyzed by pure paranoia and rage over what he saw himself doing, he hijacked the Quinjet to exile himself into deep space. Hulk wasn't running away from the team. He was isolating himself because people also saw how destructive he is during his fight with Tony in a Hulkbuster suit. But the real nightmare is what comes next. After being heavily suppressed and trapped inside Banner's subconscious for over 7 years, that rage has reached a boiling point. It all leads to the BND, where we are about to see that decade-long trauma explode, unleashing the most enraged and savage Hulk the MCU has ever seen.
